How many can Tiger Woods get?

As the snow starts to fall and Christmas nears, the Golf God’s already gave us an early Christmas gift with Phil vs. Tiger. Though Tiger Woods didn’t win like many expected or wanted. But what that match showed us, was that Tiger, is back. Tiger hasn’t played horribly last week on the Hero World Challenge no matter the last place he got.

Prior in the week, Woods said his form this year had astonished him to the extent he was “not physically prepared to play that much golf at the end of the year.”

So, with that being said, as we prepare for our upcoming majors, Tiger will have to be on your list as a favorite.

Though as we sit and wait for Golf to return, a popular prop bet that I’m looking at is Tiger Wood’s major wins. Now while I don’t think he’ll win four majors, I do however, think he’ll win at least one.

But before we reveal the pick, let’s break down the odds.

0 Majors: -300
4 Majors: +20000
3 Majors: +8000
2 Majors: +1800
1 Major: +250

Now while the 4 majors prop would be appealing to all as it’s the biggest payout, let’s be a little realistic. For starters, Tiger Woods is 42. And next, only five golfers have won all four of golf’s modern majors at any time during their careers, an achievement which is often referred to as a Career Grand Slam: Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, and Tiger Woods. Woods and Nicklaus have won each of the four majors at least three times.

Though I don’t think he’ll win all four majors, I do however, think that he’ll win two majors. Here’s why, since Woods’ downfall he showed that he lacked durability and showed that he couldn’t close. Now while he didn’t close in the Phil vs. Tiger special event, I truly believe still that he let Phil Mickelson win.

But regardless of who the winner or loser of that crazy event was, we saw primetime Tiger Woods and I truly believe Tiger is back and ready to win at least two majors.
